Super Weirdo - Opening Act for Hollywood Celebrities Dead Man's Bones concert

Hi, Saturday I performed as the opening act for 2 Hollywood actors ( Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields ) at the Venue nightclub in Vancouver. The 2 actors started their own band called Dead Man's Bones, a melodic ensemble with beautiful melodies and a little bit creepy graveyard-nightmare-ghost subjects for their lyrics, perfect for this time of the year right before halloween.

The music was great, they even had a children choir with them, the place was packed, I'm now hooked up with an agency from Chicago, U.S.A., everybody loved my performance - it was a great night !

October 2009 News !

Hello everyone,

It's been a month since my last post so here are my last updates.

It's been a lot of fun performing at the Lower Lonsdale Fall Festival, Hike for Huntington fundraiser and Richmond Lantern Festival. I got a call from an agency in Chicago and got a show booked as the opening act for the Dead Man's Bones concert on October 24th. Actor Ryan Gosling (Oscar-nominated "The Notebook""The Believer" etc...)

It is a huge opportunity and may lead to more touring in the U.S.A. so I'm pretty excited about it.

As for training, I've been able to juggle 21 times in a row on top of my ladder, and have been practicing a lot with bounce juggling balls (juggling while bouncing balls on the floor).

I have also created a study guide for school students to review before and after my school performances, to make the show educational. This was mandatory for my application to Artstarts in school, a talent booking agency for B.C. schools.
